23-26 October 2022: a date that marks the important return of an equally decisive event. We are talking about Pack Expo International, the most important international trade fair for the packaging and processing sectors which, after 4 years, is once again back on stage in Chicago - USA.
A dynamic and complete event, with training sessions, networking opportunities and, above all, with the presence of all the key players, ready to bring technological and process innovation to the fore.
Among the most important protagonists, Robopac and OCME will exhibit at Booth North Hall #5906 the most innovative, tested and reliable end-of-line packaging solutions that the Group has created to effectively meet the needs of different product sectors.
A demonstration of the evolutionary power that Aetna Group’s know how, together with its production subsidiary Robopac USA, is constantly able to transmit and spread all over the world. This is only possible thanks to the One Global Company logic that places quality and service as the essential cornerstones of its international presence, guaranteeing the excellence of Made in Italy in the world's most important markets.
Among the technologies of excellence in the field of Stretch Wrappers, the stand will host Robot S7, the super flexible, self-propelled stand alone with stretch film and R-Connect technology, in line with all industry 4.0 requirements and ideal for handling products of any size, shape and weight. There will also be Technoplat, for fully automatic pallet wrapping: it is inserted at the end of the wrapping cycle to cut, fix and weld the final part of the film; then there will be Masterwrap HD, a semi-automatic rotating arm wrapping machine, ideal for stabilizing unstable and heavy loads. There will also be the new Orbit R horizontal stretch wrapper with rotating ring, which can be added to integrated work cells or lines and is designed to handle, with speed and efficiency, elongated products such as doors, windows, cabinets, aluminum extrusions and flooring. Directly from US production comes the LT Automatic Stretch Wrapper, the new turntable stretch wrapper which, with its 40 pallets/hour, is a high-level entry level, guaranteeing high performance in terms of speed, reduced dimensions, lower film consumption and greater safety for operators.
Then there are the main packaging solutions: starting with the Prasmatic TC line of case packers, ergonomic, modular, flexible, with fast format changeover and production between 35 and 85 packs per minute. The Sotemapack WA 20, on the other hand, is the solution with compact dimensions for speeds of up to 20 packs/minute and alternating operation, available in various configurations and perfect for handling products such as flexible pouches and rigid envelopes.
These two technologies will then be the subject of live demos: the first will handle trays of various sizes and bottle packaging, while the second will handle rice packs.
Completing the offer at Pack Expo will be TopTier palletizers, available with integrated stretch wrapping, and intralogistics solutions by OCME that, with laser-guided LGVs, reduce labor costs and, at the same time, improve production efficiency.

Entre las tecnologías de excelencia en el campo de las envolvedoras de estiramiento, el stand acogerá a Robot S7, el stand alone súper flexible y autopropulsado con film estirable y tecnología R-Connect, en línea con todos los requisitos de la industria 4.0 e ideal para manipular productos de cualquier tamaño, forma y peso. También estará Technoplat, para envolver palets de forma totalmente automática: se inserta al final del ciclo de envoltura para cortar, fijar y soldar la parte final del film; luego estará Masterwrap HD, una envolvedora semiautomática con un brazo giratorio, ideal para estabilizar cargas inestables y pesadas. También habrá la nueva envolvedora horizontal Orbit R con anillo giratorio, que puede añadirse a las células o líneas de trabajo integradas y está diseñada para manipular, con rapidez y eficacia, productos alargados como puertas, ventanas, armarios, extrusiones de aluminio y suelos. Directamente de la producción estadounidense llega la enfardadora automática LT, la nueva enfardadora de mesa giratoria que, con sus 40 paletas/hora, es un nivel de entrada de alto nivel, garantizando un alto rendimiento en términos de velocidad, dimensiones reducidas, menor consumo de film y mayor seguridad para los operarios.
Luego están las principales soluciones de envasado: empezando por la línea de encajadoras Prasmatic TC, ergonómicas, modulares y flexibles, con un rápido cambio de formato y una producción de entre 35 y 85 paquetes por minuto. La Sotemapack WA 20, por su parte, es la solución de dimensiones compactas para velocidades de hasta 20 paquetes/minuto y funcionamiento alterno, disponible en varias configuraciones y perfecta para manipular productos como bolsas flexibles y sobres rígidos.
Estas dos tecnologías serán objeto de demostraciones en vivo: la primera tratará bandejas de diversos tamaños y envases de botellas, mientras que la segunda tratará envases de arroz.
Completarán la oferta en Pack Expo los paletizadores TopTier, disponibles con enfardado integrado, y las soluciones intralogísticas de OCME que, con los LGV guiados por láser, reducen los costes de mano de obra y, al mismo tiempo, mejoran la eficiencia de la producción.
