ItalyPost's Study Center carried out – in collaboration with the L'Economia Editorial Office of "Corriere della Sera" (Italy's leading daily newspaper) – a survey of the balance sheets of Champions companies in four sectors that performed above average between the years 2014 and 2020, selecting the top 50 for each sector.
According to this study, Aetna Group was among the Top 50 companies in the engineering sector.
On Friday, October 14, in Milan at the Sala Buzzati of the Corriere della Sera, Enrico Aureli and Valentina Aureli were interviewed by journalist Raffaella Polato (special correspondent L'Economia - Corriere della Sera) and Caterina Della Torre, project leader research Top Italian Companies 2022 and partner Special Affairs.
The two CEOs recounted the stages of the Group's steady growth and the industrial and business model that has enabled it to achieve such significant balance sheet results.
In particular, emphasis was placed on the Group's goals for further development, the great activity of Research&Development of new solutions that took place in the last two years and sealed by a dense participation in trade fairs in 2022, bucking the trend of the main competitors. Their story focused on the recent acquisition of the historic German company Meypack, a technology leader appreciated for the quality and innovative capacity of end-of-line products mainly in the food, spirits, home & personal care sectors in Germany and internationally.
