TechLab 4.0 是由欧洲区域发展基金共同出资的项目，Aetna Group 的目标是通过该项目实现具有分布式智能/物联网以及先进模拟与优化服务的网络物理集成功能的新一代包装与物流系统。
这一项目的目标是获得新一代的配有集成智能的包装与物流系统：当中的组件、机器和集成系统拥有强大数字内涵，用以优化诊断、控制功能的远程化、问题预测等内容；提供可在系统的调试阶段和应用期间使用的全新模拟平台。
这些成果将用于研究并开发出一条以分布式自动化/物联网为基础的包装试验线，在自动化系统设计工作流程中实现虚拟调试的功能模拟。此外，这些成果还将助力新的执行与控制组件的研究和开发，以实现运行机器功能和动态上的优化。
