Founded as a consortium of American farmers, Suntado today takes care of all stages of the production process, ranging from the procurement of raw materials to the final packaging stage, maintaining the highest standards of product safety and integrity.

The project involved the opening of a new green field in Burley, Idaho, with a focus on packaging solutions provided by Robopac and TopTier for carton brick packaging. The success of the plant was achieved thanks to the synergy between Robopac's innovative secondary packaging technology and TopTier's expertise in palletizing solutions designed specifically for the dairy industry.
The Prasmatic model is featured in all six production lines. It is an automatic case packer that combines the need for a high production rate (around 30 bricks per minute) and compliance with high quality and hygiene standards.
In both the TCS310W and Combi versions, the case packers are integrated in four different lines with the TopTier Value compact palletiser. Here, automated carton forming, tray packaging and palletising takes place in parallel with a stretch wrapping unit.
The fifth line consists of a Cluster machine and a Prasmatic model TCS310W integrated with the TopTier Value. The sixth line also ends with the TopTier palletizer, but is preceded by the Prasmatic TC400 W, an automatic case packer ideal for forming brick packaging into cases.
Thanks to an automated and seamless process, protection and stability of the load is guaranteed all along the way, from the product infeed to the formation of the cartons and their palletization, with fast and smooth production rates.
The aim of the plant is to increase Suntado's production rate and safety requirements for the future, while at the same time confirming the Aetna Group's position as a leader and innovator in the field of end-of-line technology. The alliance between Suntado, Robopac and TopTier will thereby demonstrate that when pioneering companies come together with a common vision, innovation and success are guaranteed.
