The industrial revolution 4.0 has also affected the logistics sector. The growing demand for flexibility and fast schedules has imposed a new concept of warehousing, storage and goods handling.
Following this current, and still giving voice to the constant evolution that has always characterized the sector, innovation will be at the heart of the new edition of LogiMAT, Europe's largest international trade fair for intralogistics, which will take place in Stuttgart (Germany) from 31 May to 2 June 2022 at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre.
Robopac and OCME will be the expression of this change, exhibiting their technological solutions in Hall 1 / Booth K68.
The two main brands of the Group have pooled their expertise to meet the demands of handling at all levels of automation.
OCME, in fact, boasts almost twenty years of experience in the development of internal logistics and handling solutions to and from the warehouse, and has established itself in the main international markets for the high level of automation of its LGV solutions: the wide range of laser-guided vehicles of the AURIGA family satisfy multiple requests with great competence and autonomy, offering a tailor-made response to the various industrial and commodity sectors.
Equally performing but related to the lower-level automation segment is INTEGRA, the AGV carriage from Robopac Machinery with covering forks suitable for handling pallets within the plant, that will be also present at the LogiMAT stand.
Its high productivity benefits from lithium-ion batteries that allow optimal charging cycles and maximum durability, which, together with the AC motors, make the AGV in line with the principles of sustainability. Ideal for working in confined spaces, it can handle loads of up to 1500 kg and up to 675 mm in height, with a maximum positioning error of 10 mm. Precise - therefore -, productive, sustainable and safe, Integra also proves to be very flexible and offers an effective response to different product types.
At LogiMAT the group will also bring the Technoplat CS TP3 automatic pallet wrapping machine from the Robopac Machinery B.U., the innovative solution for fully automatic pallet wrapping. The machine is equipped with a film clamping and cutting unit with a special spreader that ensures that the film tail is hooked, cut and spread so that it remains perfectly adherent to the pallet. In addition, the R-Connect technology responds precisely to the 4.0 industry demands: a technologically advanced monitoring system that allows complete control of the operation of its automatic and semi-automatic applications and total support to the final customer, who is left with a "turnkey" management to cope with all Robopac solutions with extreme peace of mind and security.
