April 9, 2020 - From this morning Robopac is providing completely free of charge the packaging in single envelopes of 152,000 masks that Emilia-Romagna Region and the Civil Protection have made available free of charge to the population residing in the province of Rimini. The masks were delivered yesterday to the company in boxes of 50 pieces: ROBOPAC's task is to separate and package them individually as quickly as possible, obviously paying the utmost attention to all health aspects.
Thanks to the technologies and precautions prepared by Robopac in the Villa Verucchio plant, it will therefore be possible within a few hours to deliver the health devices that the authorities recommend to use in public places to contain the infection. The first packaged masks will begin to be distributed to the population already from this afternoon.

“We provide this service to our community with great pleasure and with a sense of responsibility - commented Alfredo, Enrico and Valentina Aureli president and CEOs of the group - as we are convinced that companies must be at the forefront in facing this emergency by making available technologies, employee and know-how. We have strong roots in our territory thanks to which our companies have established themselves in world markets and we are convinced that all together we will make it. "

Last night we made the complete sanitization of the machines and of the area devoted to the packaging of the masks. Robopac operators are working by adopting all the necessary health precautions and prescriptions, obviously equipped with gloves, scrubs, mask and glasses. Robopac automatic and semiautomatic packaging machines will be used which, thanks to their features of great functionality, reliability and ease of use, find application in the most varied sectors (food, chemical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, etc.).
All packaging operations will therefore take place according to the strictest hygienic-sanitary safety criteria for both the product and the work environment: the appropriate distances between the staff will be maintained, perfect hand cleaning will be ensured before removing the masks, the worktop will be perfectly sanitized. The masks will be packaged in a clean disposable container using an appropriate packaging film.
