An international and entirely digital fair: these are the highlights of the new edition of Xylexpo 2024, a biennial exhibition showcasing woodworking technology and components for the furniture industry promoted by Acimall (the association of Italian manufacturers of woodworking machinery and tools), which will be held from 21 to 24 May at Fieramilano-Rho.
Active since 1968, the Milanese event has attracted exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. This is due to its ability to capture the dynamics of the main international marketplaces and interpret the evolution of the sector, which is increasingly oriented towards sustainability and digitalisation.
In this showcase, the Aetna Group shares its expertise and recognition as a global provider of technologies and solutions. It also highlights the need to balance avant-garde vision with flexibility and customisation.
In Hall 3P - Stand D10 E11, Aetna Group will welcome customers and visitors with Robopac Machinery as well as Sotemapack branded machines, demonstrating their proven efficiency in wood processing and handling.
Orbit R13 + is a rotating ring machine equipped with spiral wrapping using stretch film. It is versatile and designed for integration into integrated work cells or lines. Due to its large ring diameter and compactness, it is ideal for horizontally wrapping large materials.
For heavy-duty protection, Robopac Machinery offers Pluripac 1500, an automatic cold-wrapping device with reels of bubble wrap, foam, or polyethylene film. It is also available in the Manual Pluripac impulse version. The Pluripac 1500 is integrated with the Compacta 6 horizontal wrapping machine, which stands out for its compactness, versatility, and efficiency.
Products can be spiral wrapped with stretch film by means of the Spiror range exhibited at the show, including the 400 hp version with taping head and the BW 2200 version, a fully automatic, 4-sided orbital wrapping solution under the Sotemapack brand.
Also present at Xylexpo will be Robopac Machinery's flagship, the Robot S7. This is a self-propelled machine with a high degree of autonomy for packaging presented with R-Connect. The latter is a turnkey system for the end user that allows constant monitoring of the machine correct operation in terms of updates, dangerous downtimes and technical problems.
