Arla Foods is one of the world's leading dairy producers. With its plant in Esbjerg, Denmark, it produces the famous Cocio chocolate milk, loved throughout the country and beyond. In addition to owning brands such as Lurpack, Cream Cheese and Protein, Arla Foods is also a private label supplier to world-renowned players.

Faced with the need to optimize its packaging line and with the aim of meeting the growing demand for its products and the standard offered, the company turned to Robopac, a worldwide leader in packaging solutions.

After careful evaluation, the choice fell on the Prasmatic TC 800 CW range of shrink wrapping machines, recognised as the best solution for reliable, high-speed production, reaching up to 85 packs per minute.

The collaboration with Prasmatic dates back to 2012, when an HSW600/CW machine was installed to replace a previously selected German automatic machine. The HSW600/CW has a speed of 65 packs per minute and is used for tray and film format of glass bottles and cans, as well as for shelf-ready promotional packaging.

Thanks to the after-sales service and maintenance provided in a precise and timely manner over the years, when the production needs of the Esbjerg plant grew, it was natural to turn to Prasmatic again.

As a result of that initial collaboration, the Aetna Group 's specialised food brand started to gain an excellent reputation in the Danish market, and the number of automatic secondary packaging machines installed in this Country is currently increasing.

Thanks to the solution provided by Robopac, Arla Foods has seen significant improvements in its end-of-line packaging operations, helping to increase efficiency and productivity in its plant. In addition, the implementation of the machines has improved product safety, ensuring protection of packages during transport and storage, as well as product freshness and integrity until final consumption.

This successful and future-oriented partnership promises even more significant results for both companies, which are innovators and constantly growing within the industry.
