In the UK, the PPMA Show is the leading event forthose who focus their business on packaging technologies and processes in various product sectors.

These can range from food, beverages,pharmaceuticals, household, personal care and animal care products, to buildingmaterials and supplies, and even technologies aimed at the chemical industry.

Later this year, on 24September, the doors of Hall 5 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC)in Birmingham will open for three days. 350 exhibitors areregistered and more than 8,000 visitors are expected to attend in searchof innovations and new growth opportunities for the industry.

The best process and packaging machinery, robotics andmachine vision systems are presented here, including the latest news inmaterials, containers and packaging design.

Robopac and OCME are taking part in this major eventorganised in cooperation with the subsidiary Aetna UK at stand J52,where it will be possible to learn more about the packaging and palletisingsolutions offered by the entire Group.

Various technologies will be on show at the stand, startingwith Robot S7: Robopac Machinery's self-propelled stretch filmpackaging machine - suitable for products of any shape, size, and weight -recognised for its efficiency, reliability and ease of use. Robot S7 can be equipped withmotorised P3GS pre-stretch carriage featuring 3 fixed selectable speeds, andthe R-Connect system to constantly monitor the machine and optimise productionparameters.

Anotherbrand highlight exhibited at PPMA is the Masterplat Plus PGS,representing the range of semi-automatic rotary table wrapping machines. Theyare ideal for a wide range of packaging requirements, setting a benchmark in terms of ease of loading, maximumflexibility and safety. Again, this solution has the feature of being equippedwith the R-Connect system and the PGS pre-stretch carriage.

Forpackaging operations, the leader selected for the 2024 exhibition is the Robotape50 ME, a fixed-format taping machine, which stands out due to itsprecision, durability and reliability in safely sealing boxes.
