Aetna Group confirms attendance at SIGEP again. The latter - an international event for the foodservice sector - will take place at the Rimini Expo Centre between 18 and 22 January 2025.

The event, now in its 46th edition, is a unique forum for the latest innovations related to sectors including Ice Cream, Pastry & Chocolate, Coffee, Bakery and Pizza. It attracts professionals and companies from all over the world with an in-depth overview of industry trends.

Robopac Machinery, will be present at Hall B7D7, Stand 002. Here, it will exhibit the most important semi-automatic end-of-line packaging technologies allowing customers and visitors to know the innovations developed to enhance competitiveness, efficiency and sustainability.

Robopac Machinery's greatest technological achievement is Robot S7. This self-propelled wrapping machine (for packaging products of all shapes and sizes), is equipped with the R-Connect system that allows tracking and productivity optimisation.

In terms of packaging, we will present Pack 5040 A: a shrink-wrapping machine with a sealing arm featuring manual or automatic movement, ideal for speed and reliability.

Robotape 50 TBDE, on the other hand, is a top- and bottom-drive taping machine for closing fixed-format cases, popular because it is compact and easy to transport.

On the sustainability front, ReCYCLE represents an innovative system for compacting and disposing of waste materials. This machine contributes significantly to the reduction of waste volume by up to 70%. This approach is particularly effective for paper and plastic management. These two materials are essential for the circular economy, as they are capable of being recycled and reused, thereby minimising environmental impact.

Another available solution is Technoplat PW: a turntable machine for paper packaging from Robopac Machinery. This is an innovative and sustainable option for final product packaging which uses environmentally friendly recyclable paper to ensure optimal protection without damaging the environment. The adoption of these technologies is essential to reduce resource consumption and encourage a more responsible production cycle.

With its participation in SIGEP 2025, Aetna Group reaffirms its leadership in the packaging sector and its vocation in the food industry. The Made in Italy quality and the value of the circular economy are pillars that the group supports with its innovation, providing opportunities to improve the effectiveness of production processes and reduce environmental impact.
