Aetna Group is preparing to leave its mark at IPACK-IMA 2025 (HALL 6 - Stand B21 B39 D22 D40) with a stand occupying more than 800 square metres, presenting cutting-edge solutions for the industrial packaging and in-house logistics sector. The company will exhibit two highly innovative lines, highlighting the key themes of sustainability, automation and end-of-line integration for the food industry.
Sustainability and Automation
At the stand, visitors will be able to discover an automated line designed entirely by the Robopac Machinery Business Unit for the low-output segment. This sector is increasingly focusing on automation, and Aetna Group's proposal will allow us to see a comprehensive system in action, from case formation to warehouse management, offering a tangible example of technological innovation.
Another special feature of this line is the use of sustainable packaging: the cases are made from paper tape and water-activated adhesive tapes, and right through to the wrapping of the pallet, the entire process uses cellulosic materials. A solution that demonstrates the Aetna Group's commitment to promoting a circular economy and reducing environmental impact. However, Robopac does not limit itself to the concept of “plastic free”, but offers tailor-made solutions for each material chosen by the customer, guaranteeing maximum efficiency and reduced consumption through the TechLab. This is the industry's most advanced research laboratory, which scientifically verifies the effectiveness of packaging systems for palletised loads, guaranteeing optimal sealing with minimum use of film.
At the end of the cycle, the ReCYCLE compactor sends plastic and cellulosic materials for recycling, maximising raw material recovery and contributing to more efficient resource management.
Machines involved in the line:
- SUPERBOX 6 HD - high-production rate case erector, up to 12 cases/min.
- COBOPAC P&P 5 - cobot for automatic picking and positioning.
- ROBOTAPE 60 CFA W - self-dimensioning taping machine with water-activated tape.
- COBOPAC PAL 10 - cobot for automatic palletising.
- INTEGRA - AGV for automatic pallet transport.
- TECHNOPLAT PW TP - pallet wrapping machine with paper.
- RECYCLE - compactor to maximise material recovery.
Completing the range for the semi-automatic segment:
- SPIROR PW - horizontal ring wrapping machine with paper tape for long objects.
- ROBOT S7 - self-propelled machine with stretch film for packaging of any shape and weight.
End-of-line integration for the food sector.
Presented at the stand is a complete end-of-line solution for the food sector, with dedicated solutions for tinplate packaging with secondary packaging, robotic palletising, wrapping and internal logistics. It is the work of the Robopac Packers, OCME and Robopac Systems business units, which have long been engaged in a synergetic approach to serving the canning and petfood industry, but also the pasta and bakery sectors.
An offer capable of adapting to the requirements of speed, formats and unique characteristics of each segment, consolidating Aetna Group as a reference company in the food sector, thanks to production efficiency, packaging quality and cost optimisation.
Machines involved in the line:
- PRASMATIC TC 300 W - wrap-around case packer for cans, up to 45 packs/min.
- PEGASUS - robotic palletiser with versatile gripping head, up to 11 cycles/min.
- HELIX 4 EVO - automatic wrapping machine with rotary arm for load stabilisation of up to 90 pallets/hour.
- AURIGA S-FORKLIFT - laser-guided vehicle for automatic pallet handling.
Completing the portfolio is the Sotemapack WA20 case packer, specifically designed to handle flexible containers, in operation at the stand with baby food doypacks.
Visitors will be welcomed by the after-sales service and TechLab experts, who will be on hand to outline the group's suite of advanced services supporting the life cycle of automation systems.
With a keen eye on market dynamics and industry developments, Aetna Group is exhibiting at the Milan trade fair, showcasing the best of its technological innovation. The proposed solutions aim to meet the needs of advanced automation in the food industry sector, with particular emphasis on integration and efficiency, also with a view to environmental sustainability.
In this way, Aetna Group continues to consolidate its leading role in the industry, thanks to intensive Research & Development and a market- and customer-oriented approach.
